About Us
Unified Home Care is a freestanding home health agency owned, in part, by two local organizations, Annie Penn Hospital and Morehead Memorial Hospital. Unified Home Care began operations on July 1, 1997 as a result of merging the home health agencies operated by Annie Penn Hospital and the Rockingham County Health Department. By combining the experience and strength of these healthcare leaders, Unified Home Care has grown to be more than 50 employees strong. Unified serves all of Rockingham County and residents of surrounding areas.
Mission Statement: To provide quality, safe, cost effective home health services that contribute to the patient's quality of life and desired health outcome.
In 2004 surveys, 97% of patients responding stated that Unified Home Care satisfied their expectations. 100% of physicians responding said they were satisfied with the quality of care provided by Unified and that they would recommend Unified Home Care to their patients.
